A LightSound device, is an eclipse sonification tool developed at Harvard University. It allows those with visual impairments to hear the amount of light around them, to allow for a second-by-second experiences of the light changes during an eclipse.
At Total Eclipse of the Park, you can watch and play Beep Baseball and other inclusive games.

SEAC is Neighborhood Preservation Company that facilitates community and economic development in south east Rochester. They support existing neighborhood and merchant associations, as well as help organize citizens to generate sought-after results.
The coordinator of Total Eclipse of the Park, Kiki Smith serves as the fundraising Fundraising Coordinator of the South East Area Coalition. Her expertise on activism for the visually impaired has her in high demand as a speaker.
RAA exists to reshape places where inclusion isn’t happening, to empower these spaces to operate with full inclusion of people with and without disabilities whenever their doors are open for business.
Aira will providing professional visual interpreters for this event to blind and low vision people. Their app connects people to a visual interpreter via a smart phone camera. Click here to join us for the livestream on YouTube. Head there in advance to sign up to be notified when they go live.
